The OpenBridgeLAB, a testing bridge erected to investigate structural health monitoring methods, was equipped with 32 uniaxial piezoelectric acceleration sensors to measure the structural response under ambient excitation. The bridge is a prestressed concrete bridge consisting of three spans, each with a length of 15 m. The bridge deck comprises three prefabricated T-beam elements. For the investigations, only Spans 1 and 2 were equipped with accelerometers, as Span 3 is structurally decoupled. The dataset consists of three different ensembles: the Reference State (RS), in which the bridge is in an undamaged condition, Damage State 1 (DS1), and Damage State 2 (DS2). Following the acquisition of the RS measurements, damage was introduced in Span 2 of the OpenBridgeLAB. A second damage was subsequently introduced in Span 1 after the measurements for DS1 had been captured. A detailed description of the damage scenarios and their locations is provided in the companion paper. In addition to the dataset, a datasheet is provided. The datasheet contains a detailed description of the measurements, including the sensor positions, sampling rate, number of measurements, and data structure. Dataset 2024 - Flossgraben bridge

Dataset 2024 is a collection of measurements from the large-scale test carried out on 10.09.2024-12.09.2024 at the Flossgraben Bridge:
The research presented is part of the SPP100+ of the German Research Foundation. Subject of the research is the early detection of damage, especially on large bridge structures. For this purpose, a large-scale experiment for vibration-based output-only damage detection was conducted at Flossgraben Bridge near Zeitz (Germany). The experiment was conducted over the course of three days for which the structure was equipped with 56 uniaxial piezoelectric acceleration sensors. The experimental structure is a healthy bridge structure constructed in 2001 and is part of the federal road B2 with two lanes for traffic. The bridge is composed of seven spans, with a total length of 358 m and a total weight of approximately 4750 t. The superstructure consists of an in-situ concrete slab resting on a trapezoidal, torsionally rigid steel box girder with inclined webs. The large-scale experiment was divided into a reference phase and two damage equivalent load case phases. Cargo trucks with a total mass of 39 t were used as additional mass and placed in field 4 and field 3 as mass alterations. During the complete course of the large-scale experiment one traffic lane was closed, while the other was open for traffic. The experiment was carried out with the kind support of the LSBB Saxony-Anhalt.
Dataset 2023 - Technicum

The Dataset 2023 contains a collection of measurements from the laboratory and the field setup.
The dataset provides vibration data of a dual testing field under ambient excitation. The dual testing field consists of a laboratory setup with constant conditions and a field setup with varying conditions. Both setups are mechanical identical and equipped with 24 piezoelectric acceleration sensors PCB393A03. The dataset contains various mass alteration studies under constant conditions (laboratory setup) and varying conditions (field setup). Environmental data (i.e., air temperature, surface temperature, wind velocity, wind direction, rain events) is supplied for the field setup. The measurements are of 10 min length and downsampled to 1 kHz sample frequency (initial measurement sample frequency 10 kHz). Please note the complementary datasheet.
