From October 8th to 9th, 2025, the annual meeting of the priority program SPP 2388 (SPP100+: “Hundred plus – Extending the service life of complex building structures through intelligent digitization”) took place at TU Dresden. I4S is represented as a subproject in clusters C and E. The annual meeting marked the end of the first phase of the funding period, which focused on digital models and digital linking. The results of the individual subprojects were presented in joint cluster presentations. I4S took on the coordination of this under the leadership of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Armin Lenzen, the cluster spokesperson for Cluster E.

The second part of the event marked the start of the second funding period of SPP100+, in which I4S is once again participating. This phase focuses on the topics of “condition indicators” and “forecast models.” The aim of I4S is to physically standardize the SP2E (State Projection Estimation Error) damage localization method developed at the institute and to derive robust recommendations for action from process-oriented prediction models over the lifetime of a structure.
